The Meandering Outrage of Technology

I work with tech at least forty hours a week, but usually closer to fifty hours a week when all digital viewing and meandering is accounted for in life’s ledger of questionable use of time. If I sound somewhat disaffected, it’s because I am. Not with the tech itself, but the utilization and implementation of technology.

In other words, implementing any kind of new – newish – technology is a soul sucking experience. And measuring success? Don’t bother, especially if you grok data analysis and genuinely understand ways to improve whatever measures of performance you’re tracking.

The true test of technology is how quickly it can accrue technical debt without leadership knowing!
